I photograph weddings, couples on 35MM film and medium format throughout Southern California and beyond. I also film weddings and create short films shot on 16MM film. My approach is to be a part of your day and document so you can put your phones away to be present, to live in the moment while I photograph your day on film in the most immersive and beautiful way you can, the timeless imperfect, texture and quality that only film can create.

“My fiancé hired Dylan as our photographer to capture our engagement in Wyoming, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience! My fiancé originally planned a sunset engagement shoot but decided at the last minute to change it to a sunrise session. Despite the change, Dylan was incredibly accommodating and worked with us to make both ideas possible by arranging two separate photoshoots one at sunrise and another at sunset.
I was very shy and honestly still in shock after getting engaged, so I wasn’t sure how to pose or feel comfortable in front of the camera. Dylan made us feel completely at ease with his friendly, professional, and relaxed personality. Because of that, he was able to capture such natural and genuine moments between my partner and me.

From the first phone call about the details and how I wanted everything to go, to weeks after the photos and film were delivered to us, he's been incredibly helpful and attentive! The shots were perfect. We were able to get both digital and film pictures including polarioids, and he was able to get it on video digitally and on 16MM film!
Additionally, I was able to get a second photoshoot in a package deal. He was willing to meet me anywhere in SoCal for the portraits, but my fiancé and I decided we wanted to do them locally
He went as far as to make us an edit using the film, deliver all of the raw photos and videos, and went out of his way to ensure that we were happy with everything.
