ABOUT DYLAN

I’m Dylan Wood, a Southern California filmmaker and film photographer traveling wherever the my camera can go. I’ve been photographing professionally for seven years. I have always had a camera in my hands my entire life. I have been surrounded by film, cinema and photography.

My goal is simple to make art, capture moments for who I am privileged to. Preserve them on film. 35mm, medium format, and 16mm motion picture film. These become photographs you can print, hold, frame, and pass down. Short films you can watch years from now on a Blu-ray disc.

When I’m not photographing weddings, making films, I’m usually outside with a camera. Watching old movies, visiting museums, listening to Nine Inch Nails, Daft Punk, or my favorite Hans Zimmer. I love drinking coffee and planning the next road trip up the California coast with Karen.
