ABOUT DYLAN

I’m Dylan Wood, a Southern California filmmaker and film photographer traveling wherever the story takes me. I’ve been photographing professionally for seven years, but in reality, I’ve had a camera in my hands my entire life.

My goal is simple make art, capture moments, and preserve them on film. 35mm, medium format, and 16mm motion picture film. These become photographs you can print, hold, frame, and pass down. Short films you can watch years from now on a Blu-ray disc.

When I’m not photographing weddings, making films, or chasing some idea in my head, I’m usually outside with a camera. Watching old movies, visiting museums, listening to Nine Inch Nails, Daft Punk, or my favorite Hans Zimmer. I love drinking coffee and planning the next road trip up the California coast with Karen.
